Cable Crunch The Cable Crunch is an abdominal exercise that is relatively simple but that requires access to a particular piece of exercise equipment. Those individuals who have access to such equipment should find that if they perform the Cable Crunch regularly they can succeed at working to flatten tummy muscles, to some degree or another. Here is a brief explanation of how the Cable Crunch is performed.
To flatten tummy regions with the Cable Crunch exercise, one begins by kneeling down near an exercise machine that features a tricep pull down station. These are often found on many all in one strength training devices, especially those that use cable and pulley systems with adjustable weight stacks. The pull down bar should be hanging above the individual as he or she kneels. Grabbing the bar with both hands, the individual then curls his or her body downward. Of course, depending on how much weight has been chosen on the weight stack, the Cable Crunch will prove to a be a difficult routine, since that added weight must be over come not only by the muscles of the arms but also by the muscles of the midsection. Individuals can work toward gaining strength and increasing the level of resistance as time goes on.
