Alternating Supine Leg Walk

The Alternating Supine Leg Walk might not be an exercise many people have heard of, but when they learn it, they might find that it is at least as good as any other routine in terms of helping to flatten tummy muscles. We will offer a brief explanation of how the exercise is done, but we will not promise that readers will actually find it easy to perform.

The Alternating Supine Leg Walk begins with the participant lying on his or her back with hands placed underneath the tailbone. From this position the individual lifts both legs vertically into the air. Then the participant lowers just one of his or her legs toward the ground, all the way until it is stretched out horizontally, a few inches off the floor. After holding the leg there for a second, the individual returns it to the vertical position and repeats the same routine with the other leg. The Alternating Supine Leg Walk might sound fairly simple, and it is in terms of the concepts applied. However, it should be a fairly challenging means to flatten tummy regions, and beginners may only be able to do a few repetitions to start with.
